Hi there,
I'm trying to setup a wiki for a seminar at my university.
Locally (using xampp) I have no problems, but when I run the script on the university's server, I always get a network-timeout error, when I try to login and even when I try to save a page.
For better understanding, try to login here:
http://www.uni-kassel.de/hrz/db4/extern/NetQuestion/dokuwiki2/doku.php
(Edit: testuser deleted)
You'll get a network-timeout error and the URL changes to:
http://www.uni-kassel.de:8000/hrz/db4/extern/NetQuestion/dokuwiki2/doku.php?id=start
If you delete the ":8000" in the URL (that is the HTTP Port of my university) and reload the page, you're logged in as you are supposed to be. Same happens when you edit and save a page: If you delete :8000 and reload, it is being saved - so it cannot be a lack of writing permissions or something like that.
I contacted the server admin and he suggested that I have to change something like this:
$_SERVER["HTTP_HOST"]="www.uni-kassel.de";
$_ENV["HTTP_HOST"]="www.uni-kassel.de";
putenv("HTTP_HOST=www.uni-kassel.de");
in the main configuration file, but of course he doesn't know the dokuwiki script and I didn't find anything like it in the local.php or doku.php file.
Do you have any ideas?
Greetings,
