benjisail Hi, Nobody ever seen this issue? Is there any maintenance action that I could try? I have the latest version of dokuwiki. Thanks!
f-at-lo I took your text/example and tried my Wiki. I always get the correct section when I click the correspondig edit buttons. So I cannot reproduce the error with the info you gave. Sorry. Regards, Olaf
turnermm It sounds as though some weird bug has crept in to your installation. If possible I would start clean and move my pages over to the new install.
benjisail Thanks for your answer. Could you lead me to a webpage which will explain how to migrate my wiki pages to a clean dokuwiki installation? Benjamin
benjisail What is the good method to migrate my current dokuwiki to a clean/new dokuwiki install? Thanks
turnermm If you don't care about saving the history of your edits, then simply create a new dokuwiki on your server and then move your pages from data/pages and your media files (data/media) from the old dokuwiki to the new. Just make sure that when you move your pages from the old to the new data/pages that the files all can be written to by the web server. If you have permission to do so, then change the ownership of these pages to the web server's userid. If not, then you will have to make all these pages readable/writable to the world: chmod a+rw.
dominik benjisail wrote Is there a way to keep the history? copy the data/attic folder to the new wiki
benjisail Thanks! So I just need to copy : - data/pages - data/media - data/attic to the new dokuwiki and I will have exactly the same dokuwiki as before! Benjamin
benjisail If I want to keep all the users info with there password and the ACL. What do I need to do? Thanks
dominik benjisail wrote If I want to keep all the users info with there password and the ACL. What do I need to do? if you're using plain auth backend just copy conf/acl.auth.php and conf/users.auth.php
xrat Before you move to a new installation I'd try the default template (if you are using a different one) and/or disabling plugins. Maybe by this you can find the source of the error. HTH.
benjisail I just found that the problem was the linebreak plugin : http://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:linebreak I desabled it and everything is working fine now!
