ashtagon Dokuwiki appears to support H1 through to H5. It doesn't appear to support level H6 headers. Is this correct? If so, why, and are there any plans to change this? It seems strange not to support a standard html header element when teh rest of the elements in that series are supported.
lupo49 I'm not sure if it it's the intention to map the HTML headers to the Wiki syntax. It's also a question of needfulness, too much sub-chapters are imho more confusing than supporting the page reader.
ashtagon I's always hard to read the intentions of the wiki's authors, but I would like to think he responds to the users' needs. For me, it would be very useful. As for too many sub-chapters, that is entirely subjective. What may be too many for one may be just right for another. No one is required to use all six levels that html supports, just as no one is required to use all five levels currently supported by dokuwiki. Mostly, I only go down as far as level 4, occasionally level 5. But there are certain situations where level 6 headers would be useful, and I miss that functionality.
