Hey!
I am relativly new to all these wiki systems.
If I click on the "profile"-button on the top right, I just see the index-page and a warning with: "Command disabled: profile".
I went to the configuration and checked, if the profile is disabled, but it isn't...
Even google doesn't know an answer -.-
I hope someone of you has a good idea, how to fix it :)
Thanks!
FaGo

This is probably a template problem. What template are you using?
I assume the profile refers to the "Update Profile" feature of Dokuwiki. The profile feature has not been disabled by Dokuwiki, that is, not by default. You can check the configuration manager to see whether it has been disabled there under "Disable DokuWiki actions". If so, and if your template uses its own profile button, instead of Dokuwiki's, then you might get this error.

I am using Monobook. Is this problem well known with this template?

Have you checked the configuration manager to see if profiles have been turned off, as suggested above?

Yeah, i checked it, but it is turned on. As a test, I disabled it and enabled it. But it didn't help

I tried monobook in both Rincewind and Angua and no problems with update profile. You could try getting fresh copies of both DW and monobook and re-installing them. In DW you would want to replace the inc directory, you wouldn't have to reinstall.

Okay, i fixed the problem by changing the owner of all files to "www-data". Now it works :) Thanks for your help :)

Hello fago,
I have the same problem in a german DokuWiki with monobook. What do you mean with
"changing the owner of all files to "www-data"?
Is this a DokuWiki-Configuration or File-System-Configuration?
