Subject: Calc2Dokuwiki - OpenOffice.org extension
Hi,

I am a new member of this forum, and I hope it is ok to post announcements (and not only questions). Actually, I developed an OpenOffice.org extension which exports selected ranges of cells from Calc (the spreadsheet module) into tables formated in DokuWiki code. This extension:
  - can be downloaded here (under LGPL or CeCILL licenses) : http://www.lucsorel.com/index.php?page=downloads
  - adds a button in Calc GUI
  - with a single range of selected cells: clicking on the button will open a new text document (OOo Writer) which will contain the corresponding DokuWiki code of the table ready to be copy-pasted in you favorite wiki
  - with multiple ranges of selected cells: each range is exported into DokuWiki-formated tables one after each other within the same text document
  - the generated DokuWiki keeps the following formats:
    - text alignment within the cells (left, center, right)
    - text style (bold, italic, underlined)
    - cell type (title cell, data cell)

This extension was tested and validated by the French list prog@fr.openoffice.org (to whom I'm very grateful) : http://www.mail-archive.com/prog@fr.openoffice.org/msg0483….

Hej all,

did someone recently try this OOo extension? Somehow it does not work with OOo 3.2. I installed the programme, the icon appears in the toolbar but nothing happens when I click it, no writer document to paste into DokuWiki is opened.

Did I miss something?`

Does anyone know a better way to export OOo (or Excel) tables to DW while retaining at least some of the formatting?

Thanks!

edit: Ok, I just reinstalled the latest LibreOffice version (3.3) and all of a sudden it works as advertised! :-)

Are you sure that this is true? Nobody reported me any problem with my website. Can you update (or delete) this post, please?

Best regards,
Luc
