Subject: SPAM Alerting (current thread)  CLOSED: Use Spam Alerts
As already mentioned by turnermm the old "SPAM alterting" thread was becoming a bit unwieldy.

Please use this new one here.
By Patreon.com a few eurons can be fed into the code phasers of
the DokuWiki engine. Besides, Andi's posts are worth reading.

He created additional pages (with seemingly the same content). I deleted the user, deleted the pages and banned the IP address.

This looks quite harmless at first. It's an innocent question but off topic.

The TO will wait for some answers to arrive (or not, as the case may be). Some time later the same or another user ID will be so friendly as to supply the answer to the question asked in the first post. It can not be spam (unsolicited advert) since it answers  a "bona fide" question with the added value that there must be at least the users who supplied answers who will see the advert.
