samana-johann Valued DW Team and user, it seems that "zero white spaces" "" are not generally deleted when containing in words used for namespaces and pagename, at least not it using the feature of using no-romanization. Dokuwiki seems to render the zws in urls into "%E2%80%8B" While it offers certain problems using western scripts it is a huge problem in using scripts which make permanent use of zero white spaces. At least when at the beginning and end of words, like white spaces are not replaced but deleted there normally. Is there a function, a way, to get zero w.s. deleted when namespace or pagenames are generated?
andi Actually, I would consider this a bug. We have a method called utf8_stripspecials() which is used to remove some unwanted special characters from pagenames. Invisible whitespaces are certainly special characters that I would not want in pagenames. Can you open a bug report please?
samana-johann Great that it was of use for Mr. Andreas and others interest, muditā. My person might not able to do such, having no access, but will share shared Mr. Andreas's wish and maybe some may do it, but's not for sure.
