sed is the way to go, if you work directly on your server, for example via ssh.

Copy your data/pages-directory to a seperate folder, an do some tests until your sed-command works properly. Then execute it on the files in your wiki. Create a backup before you start!

An alternative could be to download the pages-folder to your desktop-computer, use an gui-tool to search and replace the links and upload the whole folder back to the webspace.

The SMTP-Plugin should work with your mail-account from your project, you dont need to use a gmail-account.

Mails in dokuwiki will be sent not only after registration, there are several other actions, like notifications about edited pages (if you wish a notification). So you should have a working mail solution before you release your wiki.

Hi Chris,

the debug output should be on the login page. Try to set the debug comfiguration to 2 instead of 1, to see more detailed information about what is going wrong (if i remeber right).

Good luck,
Christoph

Hi Igelvorg,

"single sign on" (sso) is what you are searching for. You can find a description how to enable it on the following page: https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:authad#enabling_sso

Good luck!

Christoph

Christoph

In den Logs steht leider gar nichts. (../errorlog, ../accesslog).

In welchem errorlog hast du geschaut?

Christoph

Hi volkanos,

maybe the imagemagick- or gd-module for apache is missing in your ubuntu-installation? They are not necessary bundled in the standard apache package.

Christoph

Have a lokk at the option notify in the configuration. Every change in the wiki is mailed to this email-address. For further information, check https://www.dokuwiki.org/config:notify

Do you have this problem with the playground page only or do you have the same problem with other pages?

The problem is often that files are not writable for the webserver. Check the file permission first please.

Maybe it is useful to know that if you have written an item and then hit enter, a new entry for the next item will be created automatically.

Hi rgleason,

for internal links to headings, you simply have to substitute the spacing with an underscore.

So

**__[[#the_display|The Display]]__**

will do the job.

Hi progzmaster,

there is no need to develop such an option, at it is one of the basic functions in DokuWiki and it works without an additional plugin.

Have a look at the option useheading in the configuration.

For further information, the page https://www.dokuwiki.org/config:useheading may also be helpful.

Christoph

Hi Gooooooders,

I assume you've already made some changes to CSS, so you know what to do with the following hint:

Open the file conf/userstyle.css (or create it if it doesn't exists already) and paste the following code:

#dokuwiki__usertools {
visibility: hidden;
}

Note: the link isn't really removed, it's only not displayed. If someone has a look at the code of our site, he will see the link als html-code.

Greetings,
Christoph
