You are using the bootstrap3 template and the suggested pages output doesn't look anything like the default dokuwiki template.  Write to the bootstrap3 author on github and askihim what you should do.

fckg is deprecated and shouldn't be used.  Use ckgedit instead.  I'll mark it '!discontinued'  and take it out of use.

Perhaps in conf/userstyle.css you left out the colon and final "e" from display:none?  Because your error message is:
    displaynon is undefined: failed at `` in /conf/userstyle.css at line2

You can control the amount of space under each image in a list by adjusting the top margin:
.dokuwiki div.li img.media {
margin-bottom: 3em;
}

Put this in conf/userstyle.css.  This will only affect images in lists. You may have to experiment to get the best result for different size images.  Each time you change the em size, refresh your browser cache (CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE).  Attached is an example at 3em.

Line is ambiguous. Do you mean newline or horizontal line?

I did some checking.  Place the following in conf/usersyle.css:

div.search_quickresult{
display:none;
}

See: https://www.dokuwiki.org/config?s[]=userstyle.css

Dies liegt daran, dass der Link einen eigenen Tooltip hat und dieser Vorrang hat

I paste :foo:sidebar to the side bar page and it just shows the literal text “:foo:sidebar”. What am I supposed to do??
Create a sidebar page as, @pop has said, and then in that page, you have to create a link [[:foo:bar]] if you want to link to :foo:bar.

An upgrade to the goto plugin which I'm working on might be an answer for you.

Check these settings in php.ini:
post_max_size
memory_limit
upload_max_filesize

Make sure they are big enough to handle your data.  Be sure these's enough room on your disk for the amount of data being posted.

You can get the lock status from the checklock function:
https://xref.dokuwiki.org/reference/dokuwiki/inc/common.ph…

You can't check lock status from the browser without an ajax call, which requires server side access.  For this you will need a plugin (preferably) or a server side script called from your ajax function.  For the plugin, see the ajax_call_unknown event and the example linked to at the bottom of that page.

What happens if that line is just deleted?

Pages for which users do not have permission will not get the denied message and so will not know why they can't edit, read, etc.

Hopefully this guy is taken care of.  He co-opted my username for his titles, the s.o.b.

You should be able to do this in .htaccess.  See: https://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/rewrite/remapping.html#m…

The simplest is RedirectMatch:
RedirectMatch "^/wiki_old_dir/(.*)" "http://example.com/wiki_new_dirl/$1"

Any links directed to the old will be redirected to the new, assuming that you have retained the same directory structure and pages.

In inc/html.php, you will find this function:

function html_denied() {
    print p_locale_xhtml('denied');

    if(empty($_SERVER['REMOTE_USER'])){
        html_login();
    }
}

Change this to:
function html_denied() {

    if(empty($_SERVER['REMOTE_USER'])){
        html_login();
       return;
    }
    print p_locale_xhtml('denied');
}

But you will have to do this over again every time there is an upgrade.
