I do something similar in my wiki header, for content specific advertising/sponsors. If no page specific header exists, it uses the namespace specific header, if that doesn't exist it uses a wiki default. Some sites need revenue to survive, just another application for its use. (Idea: Perhaps a choice in the template config for header or footer would save adding it later when people request that.) :)

Hi,

Yes it's possible. You could copy the html from the Arctic template to the SMF template. I believe there are tutorials on www.simplemachines.org for doing that. :)

There doesn't appear to be an option.

The forum forwards you messages but doesn't give them your email address unless you reply to them via email. You're free to ignore them. :) I hope it's not spam?

That's interesting, nice work. The bookmarklets look useful too...

That looks handy, thanks Andi. (And sorry, but in IE it's very hard to read one word per line....  :blush: )

Can I ask what bot you're using? I run an eggdrop from my mac machine for channel logging (not made public) and producing a who's in irc chat feed to 2 websites, so I'm just curious what's under the hood if you don't mind.

One way would be to use a feed parser (like Magpie) and use the Dokuwiki RSS feed.

is there a way to generate a page with links to all pages containing FIXME or DELETEME?

I believe searching for FIXME or DELETEME will also generate a list of pages. (At least it works on the older version I run.)

I think it's currently not possible unless someone were to write a plugin or modify code. However, it can easily be done with many of the other auth back ends which use forum member data and updates who's online to the database (and what they're doing), for instance, the SMF auth backend does this.

You can change it in your configuration.

I do believe that's in arctic/main.php:

  <div class="stylefoot">
    <div class="meta">
      <div class="user">
        <?php tpl_userinfo()?>
      </div>
      <div class="doc">
        <?php tpl_pageinfo()?>
      </div>
    </div>
    <?php /*old includehook*/ @include(dirname(__FILE__).'/pagefooter.html')?>
  </div>

<?php /*old includehook*/ @include(dirname(__FILE__).'/footer.html')?>
</div>

I think  <?php tpl_pageinfo()?> is what you're looking for, that's safe to remove, change or comment out.

It might not do exactly what you had in mind, but you might want to look at the phpinc plugin.

HTH.

Just to add a bit more info, for those who might be in a shared hosting environment as I am. Many php scripts need world writeable directories to run at all. I recently had several accounts running rogue php scripts in world writable directories. Apparently this happened because one of the accounts on the server was hacked and they then gained access to other accounts on the server which had directories with full write permissions. This was solved by deploying php open_basedir, to prevent scripts being able to write outside their own home directory.
