If you subscribe to a page or a namespace, you will get mail notifications if a page is changed. It has nothing to do with user registration.

I think it would be the best way to modify conf/local.php via PHP, for example with https://www.php.net/manual/en/function.str-replace.php
I think it isn't hard to write a PHP-code which modifys local.php if you have some PHP-skills.

As far as I know it is not possible to install further needed plugins automatically by DokuWiki, sorry.

Hallo Chris,

Christoph

Thank you for your replies.

We are using openstreetmap for many years now. I was really active in the osm-community a time ago, but now I‘m more active in the DokuWiki-community ;-)

I think it is more complicated to integrate spatial information into DokuWiki than I thought. I think the easiest solution would be to use DokuWiki for the input of the data, and show the information on the map with another tool.

Greetings,
Christoph

Subject: plugin struct and geodata
Hello everyone,

has anybody already built a functionality to use the struct-plugin for geodata? I don't mind about the input, but how to show the geodata (a point from two coordinates) from a struct schema on a map in the output.

My usecase would be the following:
In our volunteer fire department, we get notifications about construction sites, or to be more precise, which streets are not usable for our fire trucks.
I had the idea to put these notifications in a struct schema, with the dates of start and end of the construction work, the name of the street and a description with some details. On a map, all the construction works should be displayed at the same time. If the end date of the construction work is reached, the entry in the list and the point should disappear without further user interaction.

Has anybody a clue how to start this the best way? I'm a newbie to the struct plugin; I know how to let the entry disappear after the end-date, but I don't know how to bring everything on a map.

I think I would be able to access the sqlite-file and put the points on a leaflet-map with an external PHP-script outside the wiki, but of course it would be better to have everything in DokuWiki :-)

Greetings,
Christoph

Hi eve,

| Text | Text |
| Zeile 1\\ Zeile 2\\ Zeile 3 | Text |
| Text | Text |

Viele Grüße,
Christoph

@cziehr: yes - that function is also present for syntax plugins.

Sorry, I meant syntax plugins. I don't know why I wrote action plugins.

I've already written two syntax plugins, but I'm far away from being an expert.

In action-plugins, there is always this function:

function getSort(){
        return 999;
    }

See https://www.dokuwiki.org/devel:syntax_plugin_skeleton

This number declares the order in which the syntax substitutions are executed. Lower numbers are executed first, higher ones later on.

Hallo Haiflosse!

Christoph

In your local.php, you got the line

$conf['superuser'] = '@admin';

At the moment, everyone in the group „admin“ has admin rights (the @ defines that it is a group).

If your username in the ActiveDirectory is „ithrael“, change it to

$conf['superuser'] = 'ithrael';

If you want to give admin rights to an ActiveDirectory group named „wikiadmin“, change it to

$conf['superuser'] = '@wikiadmin';

As far as I know, it is not possible to use users from an ActiveDirectory and local users in DokuWiki at the same time.

Hallo,

https://wiki.einsatzleiterwiki.de/doku.php?id=wiki:hilfe:a…

Christoph
