Subject: Crashed server
Hi,

I had a server crash yesterday, rescued my dokuwiki, reinstalled the server, copied my dokuwiki back and now the problems start:

I use the blogs various plugins and it wouldn't display the start page properly so, I reindexed both the index and the tag, still didn't work, cleared the cache and still didn't work, but I found that if I view each page, then they would suddenly appears on my front page.

This is not the plugin forum. But I think that it's not the blog plugins because I also notice that my feed is blank:

I use feedburner. Could it be from them, no because I try from my own with:

http://foto-biz.com/feed.php?ns=blog&num=10&linkto…

and I get a blank page.

Obviously I missed something in my backup/restore. Any suggestion?

Subject: Webpages
Hi,

I operate http://foto-biz.com and the 3 top pages views are:
/doku.php
/doku.php/doku.php
/doku.php/start

The 3 of them are the same, the homepage: a blog. I use: rewrite: '2' done by dokuWiki.

Is there a way of merging them together?

Thanks

Subject: Styling  of include plugin
Hi,

I'm looking to change the look of the "--> Read More" in the include plugin. Where do I do that?

I have looked through the style.css in the include plugin directory & can't find the style. I want to make it larger to around 1.2em. So that it's clear.

Thanks

Subject: Use Nice URLs
Hi,

I'm trying, unsuccessfully, to convert from nice URLs: dokuwiki to nice URLs: .htaccess. I have copied and enabled .htaccess.dist to .htaccess, enabled the rewrite on and uncommented the line.

<Files ~ "^[\._]ht">
    Order allow,deny
    Deny from all
    Satisfy All
</Files>
RewriteEngine on

RewriteRule ^_media/(.*)              lib/exe/fetch.php?media=$1  [QSA,L]
RewriteRule ^_detail/(.*)             lib/exe/detail.php?media=$1  [QSA,L]
RewriteRule ^_export/([^/]+)/(.*)     doku.php?do=export_$1&id=$2  [QSA,L]
RewriteRule ^$                        doku.php  [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME}       !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME}       !-d
RewriteRule (.*)                      doku.php?id=$1  [QSA,L]

The home page displays properly but that's it. None of the other pages display. I get:
The requested URL /blog:test:lightroom-test was not found on this server.
It's there and was working under nice URLs dokuwiki, and when I switch back to nice URLs dokuwiki then it works.

Any suggestion?

Thanks

Subject: Page redirects
Hi,

I am currently using for: "Use nice URLs: Dokuwiki internal". My start page is: "start". The problem is that the home page is split between:

http://foto-biz.com
http://foto-biz.com/doku.php
http://foto-biz.com/doku.php/start

Is there a way of consolidating the 3 pages?

Thanks

Subject: Meta tags: description
Hi,

I use the meta plugin and the keyword plugin. Is there a way of getting a meta tag description, where I can enter text as a summary of the page?

I have tried:

~~META:
description = abstract
&title = Lightroom: Importing Hierarchical Keywords
~~

without success. Any suggestion?

Thanks

Hi,

Is there a way of having a style:

Q: ldkfsdjklsdjk
A: kjkfjkfdksfdjkl;sfd

of something else similar. I don't want to faq plugin it "screws up" the blog plugin, by cutting it off.

Thanks

Just create pages inside the namespaces and use {{blog>blog}}
Sorry, but I don't understand. I have the blog on the start.txt page with:

{{blog>Blog?10}}

When I log in, I have "New blog entry:" "test" and the "Create this page" button, it creates the page:  [[blog:test]]

So, how do I create the page in blog:abc:test.  Or do I have to move them by hand on the server?

I have the blog plugin installed and working. I'd like to divide the blog namespace into 3 or 4 sub-namespaces

I want to have:
 * blog/lightroom
 * blog/computers
 * blog/software
 * blog/network...

Any suggestion?

I did run the feed against the feedvalidator: http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Ffoto-b… and it did report a few errors.

Could these errors cause the duplicates:

Sorry

This feed does not validate.

    *       line 63, column 23: Invalid email address: syv (10 occurrences) [help]

                      <author>syv</author>
                                 ^
In addition, interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendations.

    *      line 12, column 59: Image not in required format [help]

                      <url>http://foto-biz.com/lib/images/favicon.ico</url>
                                                                     ^
    *      line 13, column 31: Image title doesn't match channel title [help]

                      <title>Foto-Biz.com</title>
                                         ^
    *      line 62, column 0: description should not contain relative URL references: #fn__1 (38 occurrences) [help]

          </description>

    *      line 68, column 8: item should contain a guid element (10 occurrences) [help]

Subject: Brand new install upt to date
Hi,

I need to create a brand new wiki, I'd like to make it it current. Is there a web page that describe how to do it, or a download? or do I get the 20080505 and apply the DARC changes?

Thanks

1. I am using feedburner
2. The same thing shows up with LifeArea
3. The same thing shows up with Firefox 3.0.4 when clicking on the RSS subscribe  in the address bar
So I think that it has to with DW.

Could it be related to: http://foto-biz.com/feed.php?ns=blog&num=10&conten… the &linkto=current? The problem is that I can't reproduce it. It happens only on occasional basis.

Thanks

Subject: RSS question
Hi,

I have the following feed: http://foto-biz.com/feed.php?ns=blog&num=10&conten….

From time to time, and I can't find a correlation, I get a notification of an older page [1 to 3 weeks old] just showing up in the RSS feed. The feed only has the title, the date and that's it. No content. This happens 2 to 3 times per week.

There are 2 problems:
1. There was no change to any of these entries.
2. There is no content in the RSS feed, only the title.

I use the "official current version:" 5-May-2008.

Any suggestion on what I should look for to track down the problem?

Thanks
