Google Authentication Plugin allows to sign in to DokuWiki using
OAuth 2.0 protocol provided by Google.
Plugin page on the DokuWiki official site:
https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:authgoogle
Please post any questions to this topic. I will answer as soon as I can.

hi
I follow the documentation to install plugins, but found the document different from the actual。
I can't find "Create an OAuth 2.0 client ID" button.
(see document
https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:authgoogle#installation :
"3、Click API Access… → Create an OAuth 2.0 client ID… (see
http://snag.gy/mXNxf.jpg).” )

Hi!
hei, Google changed a little bit their interface, I've updated installation guide and screenshots. Please check again if it is OK now.
hei
thanks ant!
When i click “Sign in with Google” button, it shows the error :
Missing required parameter: client_id
I had setted the "client id" and "client secret" at "authgoogle/google/config.php".
hei
oh
I find it on "Configuration Manager":
"
http://xxxx.com/doku.php?id=start&do=admin&page=config"
It is ok now.

hei,
I'll ask my developer to check if Google has changed something with it's OAuth and will post feedback here.
UPDATE: So it works? I missed your last message.
ant
supcik,
Thank you for your feedback. I'll talk to developers to find what we can do to enable simultaneous usage of several plugins including authgoogle.

Hi ant,
Thank you for your plugin.
Is it possible to make your extension co-exist with the "auth plain" backend? My problem is when I install your plugin and activate "googleauth" as authentication backend, the other users are no longer able to change their password. The can still login, but they can't change their password. Is this a known "feature"? Or did I do something wrong?
Best regards.

hey,
My Coding skills are not really existant. But i wondered if this plugin could be modified to be used to authenticate via facebook as well, since Facebook uses Oauth2, like google?

Hi ant,
How do I assign groups to users who sign in via Google?
loweehahn
It's alright. I figured it out. :-p

If it is not self-evident, maybe you could share your solution.

Before saying anything,
thanks for the plugin, I find it really useful :).
My question is the following, I am trying to limit the quantity of domains that can access to my wiki, but it only works when I have only one domain set. If I try to add more none of the domains work.
I tried to separate them with commas and quotes, and only comas without luck. If you can share and example of multiple domains I would be really greateful.

ok this is how:
As admin Go to -User Manager - and in “User List Table “ double click the Google user's record that you would like to register under a new “Group”. It is important to mention that by default all Google user records are registered by DokuWiki under “User” group after the very first login in the system. After clicking a user record a new windows with the record in a edit mode will be displayed then you can add the group in the “Groups”: field and save the change. That is all . To test the change log out and login and verify if your users has the permission accordingly. In some cases it will be good to “clean" the browser data for example "Clean recent history -Firefox" before to do the testing
cheers,
JC

Hi,
I'm having a problem with the Google Auth plugin and subscriptions.
After installing the plugin, subscriptions (for namespaces) are not working anymore.
The user name has spaces in it "John Doe" and that is what the .mlist file states:
John%20Doe every 1448917044
Any idea how to solve this problem?
Thank you kindly,
John ;-)
ok, no its mike
