Subject: getting images to display
I am updating the web page I work on, and have updated the dokuwiki program and moved the whole thing it to another host in the process. Now I can't get the images to display. A little note saying what the image is shows instead. The images are in the data/media/main folder just as they were at the old site. Somehow the link is just not happening. What could cause this?

I'm having this same problem.  It only seems to happen when I'm not logged in as an administrator.  The user accounts all just see names of the picture files - the admin sees everything as it should be.

Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

Maybe you set some too restrictive ACLs for the namespaces the images are located in?

that was it.  i set the users so that they'd be able to read from all namespaces and it works now.

thanks!

Sorry I didn't get back to say thanks for your response. I ran into some other problems and tried to start over. See "the cat came back, above, if you are interested.
