I have successfully installed the authad plugin and have everthing working nice with chained authentication to allow for the local "admin" user as a fallback should things go awry with my AD servers.
Is there a way that I can *locally* limit the users that have access to login to the wiki? I've seen much mentioned about using AD groups for this purpose but I don't have access to the AD in question to make said modifications.
Many thanks!

You could separate the users by groups. Add @ALL permissions to the specific AD-group where all valid users are in and all other users/groups don't have any permissions in the Wiki.
(I guess you want a field such "requiredGroup" which you can fill in the configuration page. Only when a user belong to the given groups, he is allowed to log in.)
