terria I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to create simple templates to reduce the redundancy of some pages. I've tried a few plugins, but none of them seem to work properly. Are there any plugins out there, or does anyone have any hints on how to create a simple template plugin as follows: template/foo.txt | {{arg1}} | {{arg2}} | | {{arg1}}xy | {{arg2}}rs | main/foo.txt {{template/foo?arg1,arg2}} Essentially it's an include plugin that allows you to pass arguments to the included page, thus allowing you to create dynamic "fillable" templates which are far more usable than static ones. In an worst case, would it be possible to modify an include plugin?
turnermm There are namesace templates with a set of fixed macro place holders. Also, you might be able to adapt one of these: https://www.dokuwiki.org/doku.php?id=plugin:newpagetemplate https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:openas
saifulwebid Maybe this is what are you looking for: https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:templater And, turnermm, is there any development on this plugin? It is very helpful, really.
turnermm I was not aware of this plugin. It looks useful but it doesn't look as though it is being maintained. You could try writing to the plugin author. The include plugin has a feature that enables inclusions on a per-user basis but it doesn't allow macro replacements.
