I started using Dokuwiki about six months ago and have never looked back - it is quite simply perfect. I now need to setup a new blog and given how much I like it I am exploring the possibility of using Dokuwiki for the purpose. I dislike OTT solutions such as Wordpress. I have used Concrete5 quite a lot and like it but still find it OTT.
Browsing through the list of Dokuwiki plugins I ran into BlogTng and it looks interesting. However, the rather wordy but dry documentation coupled with the fact that there isn't a simple demo I can use to check it out makes for a less than easy "buying decision". I'd be most grateful if someone here could help me out
Am I right in thinking that it requires PHP 5.3+ with SQLite?
Will I be able to continue using the AdoraDark theme that I am using for my wiki?
Will I be able to use the folded, syntaxhighlighter3 and wrap plugins?
Is there a plugin that enables me to putin in "like" buttons for the usual suspects?
Is there a good mechanism for moderating comments?

When you install blogTNG the Edit Window is a bit extended with some extra fields which allows you to set some properties to each wikipage, such that the page becomes a blog post.
Using list syntax let you create an overview of a set of blog posts. The other syntaxes give additional features. Just start experimenting with them when you already have some pages.
