Hey! I'm looking to set up a wiki that will be used by members of an online roleplaying forum, and I would love to be able to use the BBCode plugin on this wiki, since it's what members would be most familiar with, and it will make my life a thousand times easier when moving forum topics to the wiki. Alas, I tried installing this plugin, and it doesn't seem to be working properly; I can use BBCode to format a post (in addition to the default DokuWiki syntax, and I do like this feature to do stuff BBCode can't do), but the buttons default back to DokuWiki syntax rather than showing the BBCode way of doing things. Is there a way to change that?

"default back to the Dokuwiki syntax"? What do you mean exactly?
Also, do you have perhaps a live install where one could try the plugin and see a bit of what's going on?

I figured it out. What I was trying to explain was that if I used the buttons in the toolbar to help me format by post, they would add the default DokuWiki syntax to my post, rather than the BBCode. I was expecting to see the BBCode, but that's probably not how the plugin works. I can still use BBCode to format my post, I just need to type it in manually; I can also switch between BBCode and DokuWiki syntax, which is actually kind of nice.
So, problem solved (or, rather, there was never really a problem to begin with).
