I would like to use the publish plugin
https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:publish on my wiki. My aim is to allow a limited number of users with the edit privilege to make updates to pages in a way that is (almost) totally hidden from the majority of read only users.
Within the publish plugin I can disable banners for read only users. However, the main revision manager system (attic?) shows the message "This is an old revision of the document!" for any pages that are being edited. I want to disable this message, ideally just for read only users.
I don't mind that read only users can see unapproved drafts through the 'Old Versions' button. But I don't want to confuse them by putting a 'this is an old revision' message on the top of pages that the read only users should still view as up-to-date and canonical.
I'd be grateful for any assistance.
