Data wasn't being pulled from anywhere like a database would - the syntax line just allowed me to 'declare' a number of titles and variables. I can't show you this code/syntax exactly, that's my problem - I've lost it! But let's imagine that it went something like this:
{{pagename:fatherxmas|Present:bow & arrows|length:136cms|width:25cms|depth:14cms|use by:New Years Day}}
and that would produce a nice table at the top of your page...
Present | bow & arrows
Length | 136cms
Width | 25cms
Depth | 14cms
Use by | New Years Day
You'll have to use your imagination to see that as a table with cell borders etc.
The main point of the syntax/code was that it turned a single line of text/information into a neatly formatted table. It did NOT undertake any clever database functions.
