al Hi, I use the cellbg plugin to highlight the content of table cells, e.g. @yellow:xxx I have not been able to make this accept a variable color that I define somewhere in the style sheets, e.g. @mycolor:xxx Is this possible?
al Thanks Ach The trouble with that solution is that all table cells lose their padding and margins, which doesn't work for me. It also makes the table code very messy. Cellbg is very neat and does what I want - apart from allowing me to use a variable color. I was just wondering if it was possible. Point taken about sharing the solution regards table width - it was less that it was solved than that I realised that it was not 'that' solution causing the resizing, but the behavior of WRAP itself. I tried to delete my question but couldn't (am new to all this). Regards, Al
ach Oh, sorry, I didn't realize you were the same poster as in the other thread. (I should have paid more attention.) So, this is about the same issue but with a different tool? It would probably be better if you described your use case instead of what you think the solution is. That way we may find solutions you hadn't even thought of. So, *why* do you want to colour table cells?
