Thanks a lot for your Answer.
HTML is enabled. I just checked.
The background color is set in the body tag. Which seems to be ignored.
I've tried this just to check:
<html>
<body bgcolor="#E6E6FA">
<h1>Hello world!</h1>
<table>
<tr>
<td>contend</td>
</tr>
</table>
</body>
</html>
h1 and the table tags are fine, but the bgcolor has just no effect at all.
I did my help for the users in HTML on a black background for main pages. With a couple of pictures matching this black background. I would like to keep it that way. That's why I am asking...
I could do it this way:
<table bgcolor="#000000" width="100%">
But that's a bit lame. Not the whole area is colored and a white border is all around the table tag.
