Subject: [SOLVED] Discussion full of spam !
I have a discussion on my start page and have now a lot of spams... I removed the discussion tag from the starrt page but it still appears.. !
How can i clear the discussion and protect it ?
I setup this page and now the user must be identified, it might  help.

In what file are the discussions saved ?

Thanks,

If I remember correctly it is saved under metadata in .comments-files.

You can always turn it off, but it gets tedious after a while. I have yet to find a way to disable discussion by default, and enable with tag only. I have the same problem since I use the blog plugin as my simple newssystem on the frontpage of my wiki, and I really don't want the discussion to interfere (I use discussion for an internal discussion board).

Removing the tag doesn`t help, you have to use ~~DISCUSSION:off~~ to remove it. The latest version of the discussion plugin (you get it http://wikidesign.ch) also has a admin plugin with which you can manage all discussions.

To prevent SPAM you may have a look at the captcha plugin [1] if enabled the latest version of the discussion plugin can use it too.
