2) How can I translate the sidebar?
The same way as translating any other page. Just go to the sidebar page itself (if you haven't changed it in the config, it will be the page called "sidebar") and the translation select box will appear. So, e.g. when English is ":sidebar", Spanish will be ":es:sidebar", etc.
Thank you for the hint. It works fine for me, but the page name is e.g. "domain.tld/en:sidebar". I don't need the leading colon.
And to fix the language chooser problem, I copy a tiny snippet of CSS-Code from the dokuwiki.org-page. If this is e problem please tell me.
To fix it, create the file "userstyle.css" under the conf-directory and insert the following code (if the file already exsist, just add the code):
.dokuwiki #dokuwiki__aside div.plugin_translation {
float: none;
text-align: center;
border-bottom: 1px solid #ccc;
padding-bottom: 1.4em;
margin-bottom: 1.4em;
}
This is tested with the "standard" dokuwiki template (version 2014-09-29d "Hrun").
