Subject: Siteexport - excluding the upper right section from Logged In to Sitemap
Friends,

I have successfully used Siteexport to create a static copy of the Dokuwiki that we used to capture notes, images and data during a forensic examination. Using pagemod and Bureaucracy we were able to produce our reports at the same time and saved about a week. Using Siteexport allowed us to also make the optical discs to provide as evidence.

However the old guard started with frumping about how the static webpages "don't look like we used to do it."

As such is there a way I can remove the upper right administrative section when I create the static webpages? I am also trying to remove the php/cc/w3c images at the bottom, and the edit-copy-rename buttons on the side.

Thank you, so very much for this plugin, it really made everything tie together.

I may have a solution for you, namely the epub plugin.  Create an ebook with the epub plugin and then download Calibre: http://calibre-ebook.com/download

Save the ebook (epub) to your desktop and open in Calibre.  In Calibre you can convert the epub to both a pdf and to zip.  Unpacking the zip format will give you a folder containing the complete site plus an html file which associates with the folder and opens it.  You can find both formats at http://www.mturner.org/devel/doku.php?id=devel:epub:pdf.

This gives you only the pages, not the surrounding matter.

Edit:
When converting to pdf from epub, choose default input and default output in the Page Setup panel.

The Siteexport exports everything as seen. You should modify your template or create a new one just for exporting which does not include the header/ footer / buttons that you do not want. In addition you should use a user for the export who has read permissions for all pages but no write permissions. This makes the edit buttons go away.

Thank you all.

I decided to simply use Notepad++ and a replace in all pages command that removes the elements from all the html pages once they are exported.

Thank you again.
