1-4-4-11 Hey guys, I am very new to Dokuwiki. I would be grateful if someone could explain me the easiest way to to have a sidebar which automatically updates itself so that every namespace is listed there. Also it would be nice if you'd have to click on the namespace to get every page in the namespace shown in the sidebar/navigation. Thanks in advance!
turnermm This will give you a list of expandable namespaces found in the root Dokuwiki directory: {{indexmenu>:#0|js}}
1-4-4-11 Thank you very much, I already wondered why he used #1 in the explanation. You would make my day if you could tell me the reason why some namespaces and pages are shown in capital letters and some not. Oh and how can I hide some pages/namespaces?

1-4-4-11 Okay, now they cant access them. But I want that they dont even see them in the Navigation tree. For now it looks like this: But I want to hide the namespace Navigation and the last 3 pages for example.

We have a list of FAQ, this page generally explains those things: https://www.dokuwiki.org/faq:sidebar#how_can_i_have_an_automatic_navigation_in_my_sidebar If you follow the links to the tagged plugins on that page, you will find that Indexmenu is just one of them...
1-4-4-11 I know there are more plugins, but unfortunately I have to use this plugin, because it fits exactly to the rest of the page.
1-4-4-11 I finally found out how to hide single pages. I know I am asking a lot of questions, but it is urgent and I still need to add one simple thing to the sidebar: I want to get the table of content for the pages in the sidebar menu when I click on the page. I try to explain it a little bit better: This is what the sidebar should look like if I dont click on any page: Namespace - Page 1 - Page 2 - Page 3 And it should look like this when I click on Page 2 for example: Namespace - Page 1 - Page 2 - First headline from Page 2 - Second headline from Page 2 - Page 3 I hope I explained it well enough.
