Hi all,
I am fairly new to the wiki way of making documentation.
I want to setup a way to document parameters in a project and at the end handover the wiki as documentation to my customer.
However I want to have the ability to freeze the content before the handover.
I also want the customer to be able to update the content with changed or new parameters, but without changing the original content.
You obviously get the point: if, for some reason, a discussion rises about miss-configurations due to bad parameters and people start pointing fingers, there will always be a reference to the situation the setup was working well.
Is this possible with docuwiki ?

You can export to a pdf using dw2pdf or export to an ebook using epub. This will "freeze" the content because either of these will give you a snapshot of the current state. With Dokuwiki you can always go back to a previous version of a page using the 'Old Revisions' icon (or link). So it would be possible to date your pages using the 'Insert Signature' toolbar button and then go back to that version of your document(s).
