Hi,
I am trying to set up the installation of dokuwiki via some ansible scripts. (Actually I can do the same steps by hand and get the same results.)
I can get the website responding and looking like it loads pages etc but it has an error in js.php. It reports:
SyntaxError: Unexpected token '<'
(anonymous function)js.php:1
This is on a fresh install on a digital ocean debian 8 x.64 512MB droplet... I followed the guides here:
https://www.dokuwiki.org/install:debian
https://www.dokuwiki.org/install:nginx
https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-dokuwiki-with-nginx-on-an-ubuntu-12-04-vps
They differ somewhat in their nginx site-enable file... But changing the nginx server block to recognize the php has not materially effected this error. Eg here is one permutation I tried.
location ~ \.php {
fastcgi_index index.php;
fastcgi_split_path_info ^(.+\.php)(.*)$;
include /etc/nginx/fastcgi_params;
fastcgi_pass unix:/var/run/php5-fpm.sock;
fastcgi_param SCRIPT_FILENAME $document_root$fastcgi_script_name;
}
but I still get the following error:

Any hints as to what is going on?
Thanks,
Jason
