Subject: What navigation plugin is used on dokuwiki.org?
I've just installed dokuwiki in half an hour (very easy - thanks), but I've spent a couple of hours trying to find a usable navigation plugin. The FAQ just says "Best install one of the plugins tagged with 'menu' or plugins tagged with 'navigation'".

The one used on the main dokuwiki pages is exactly what I'm looking for - just a Wikipedia-style sidebar with page links. Can someone let me know which one this is? Thanks.

Not true. It doesn't use *any* navigation plugin! It's just a simple list of links.

I was just recommending navigation plugins.

Then you should have mentioned that, because that was not EML's question.

Well, it looks better than anything I've seen on the half-dozen or so I've looked at - it's seriously just a list of links? I'd like to look at the source markup, but I can't find the sidebar page anywhere. Doing a search on 'sidebar' comes up with 15 pages which all seem to refer to templates, and plugins, and so on.

Anyone know what the page is a called, so I can look at it?

@Myron - I did check indexmenu, but the styling doesn't look particularly 'professional' - I think I might have to do a lot of work with configuration and/or CSS to get it to look like the one on this site. I couldn't find a live site with simplenavi, so it's not obvious what it actually looks like. Maybe I should install it and see.

Thank you.

See https://www.dokuwiki.org/aside
Because there is a plugin and a template called "sidebar" we changed the ID to something else on dokuwiki.org.

IIRC it looks exactly like the sitemap/index. So, it takes a styling which already exists (basically just links in a big collapsible list).

I can also recommend the navi plugin. That looks very similar but is more flexible.
