Dear Dokuwiki users,
The following is perhaps not directly problem of Dokuwiki, but it's related and I need to find the way how to solve it...
When I try to save a page in my dokuwiki, which contains the phrase "' and " (without quotes, simply: simple quote+space+and+space), my Firefox will show message "The connection was reset". The page will not be saved, but the draft will be created, but if I want to delete the draft or modify it, the error message will appear again. After the message the dokuwiki will become not accessible for while (approx. 1 minute).
This is happening for all dokuwikies which I have installed on my webhosting, also for newly installed plain dokuwiki. But if I install the same dokuwiki localy on my computer (and run it using easyPHP), this problem doesn't show up. This is why I suppose it's not really Dokuwiki problem, but more likely server.
The problem must have appeared recently - even old pages, which already exist, will show this message if I try to edit them and save them. To fix the phrase (e.g. to add space inside) will remove the problem.
Don't you know where to search for the problem? Is it the Apache setting, php setting or something else?
If this message is misplaced here, I will be happy if you advice me where would be better place to post it.
Thanks!
David

Hi Andi,
Thanks for the tip. The problem is solved - I contacted the web provider, and they told me that the saving of the page was blocked by their IDS/IPS security system, since it identified it as an attempt for SQL injection (no idea what's that). They recommended me to update Dokuwiki to the latest version (but that's the one I am already using), but at the same time when I was testing it again, it started to work. Sounds like technicians in web hosting did some magic...
Anyway, thanks for the link and advice!
David
