Hi to all,
I want to move my DokuWiki to another server and this page
https://www.dokuwiki.org/faq:servermove describes how to do that. For my wiki's mission it's crucial to know, when a page had been modified, so this part is particularly important:
Last modified dates (filemtime) may change when just copying your files. To avoid this, pack the whole directory in a TGZ file, transfer it and unpack it on the other server.
Unfortunately I don't have shell access to the source server, so I cannot TAR there. Script-based PHAR'ing and ZIP'ing doesn't work either. However, I can CURL from the destination server back to the source server over WebDAV and GET the files over, which creates the
regular files with their original last-modified-dates, which is fine, but
directories are created on the destination server with the local creation dates, rather than with the source server's ones.
Does this harm?
Is DokuWiki using data directory's last-modified-dates for any purpose?
I don't need to know namespace creation/modification dates!
Any help would be appreciated!
Cheers,
Willy
