Hello!
I am using DokuWiki as a personal Information Database, Notepad and general reference tool.
Until now I was using it as a WAMP installation on my PC, now I want to make it accessible from any device in my home at any time, the obvious choice was raspberry pi.
I am trying to migrate
from WAMP to
Raspberry with Apache, and until now, can get it to work fully.
The problem for me (and my limited knowledge) is that in WAMP the installation is all in one folder:
C:\wamp\www\dokuwiki
* bin [DIR]
* conf [DIR]
* data [DIR]
* inc [DIR]
* lib [DIR]
* vendor [DIR]
** .htaccess.dist
** COPYING
** doku.php
** feed.php
** index.php
** install.php
** README
** VERSION
But when I install DokuWiki in Raspberry through the depository its scattered through the system
* /etc/dokuwiki/
* /usr/share/dokuwiki
* /var/lib/dokuwiki
When I transfer just the data folder, all my data is there, but the templates and and a bunch of other plugins do not work.
I want to understand what to transfer and where to put it
I am not an expert on linux, so my knowledge is limited to what I understand when looking though google results.
I will make a complete tutorial of the process when I will succeed to help anyone else in the future attempting this.
Thank you.
