Hi everybody,
I am the author of the DokuBook template and recently got a request to add the possibility of having a custom footer per namespace, just like the navigation sidebars. The only use I can think of is to eventually add different license info for different pages (but that could be done in the page itself as well). I am not quite sure if this is useful/helpful that's why a like to ask you:
In case you use the template, would you like to have this feature or do you think it's not worth having it?
Thanks for any votes in advance,
Chi

A footer per namespace is not different to a sidebar per namespace. This could be useful when using the Wiki as CMS. Eg. I might want to put some widgets like MyBlogLog into the footer for the blog part of my site, but something completely different for the project part of my site...

I do something similar in my wiki header, for content specific advertising/sponsors. If no page specific header exists, it uses the namespace specific header, if that doesn't exist it uses a wiki default. Some sites need revenue to survive, just another application for its use. (Idea: Perhaps a choice in the template config for header or footer would save adding it later when people request that.) :)

Ok - I've added it.
Thanks for the feedback!
