Hi all
I have a bit of an uncommon problem. I bought a Synology and installed their dokuwiki package. All works fine so far. However if I try to upload jpg and png it brings the error Upload denied. This file extension is forbidden!.
According to google I should edit the mime.conf file and also make a copy with the name mime.local.conf. No success.
So I installed a dokuwiki on my webserver (not Synology) and it worked perfectly with the same constellation (edited mime files), as described in all dokuwiki documentations.
Does anyone know about any specialities with Synology ? (Latest releases of DSM and the necessary packages as of 16th of August).
I need this for an intranet setup, so my working internet setup is no option. Also the Synology is my only hardware I have available. So a LAMP installation is also not possible.
Here my mime files
# Allowed uploadable file extensions and mimetypes are defined here.
# To extend this file it is recommended to create a mime.local.conf
# file. Mimetypes that should be downloadable and not be opened in the
# should be prefixed with a !

thanks a lot for the help

I solved the problem, it seems that synology places mime.conf in the dokuwiki root, which is wrong, moving it to the conf folder solved the problem.
