Hi folks,
I've been following the security instructions in
wiki.splitbrain.org/wiki:security, but I have a problem securing my login because I'm on a shared certificate.
The .htaccess rules given at that page assume that if your site is normally
http://mysite.com, your https is simply
https://mysite.com. But in my case, it's more like
https://ssl.certificate.com/my-parent-site/my-actual-folder-where-this-site-lives/
It's easy enough to change the RewriteRule so that it points to a secure login page, but:
Problem 1: All the CSS styling breaks, and I'm back in 1994.
Problem 2: The login button doesn't work anyway. Dokuwiki now generates a button pointing to
https://ssl.certificate.com/start?do=login,
which doesn't exist.
Has anyone else gotten this to work? Thanks in advance for any help. Please let me know if there's any further info I can give; as I say, my wiki seems to work fine normally.
