dokuwiki-user1
Hi,
I'm a software developer and run a small company. We use Salesforce to keep track of prospects and customers. Salesforce is useful for keeping track of names and address, and printing out lists. However, I would like something more flexible for helping organize, share, and keep track of marketing and support efforts. A wiki seems probably a good match, because so open-ended.
My research suggested dokuwiki was a good possibility, for a few reasons:
1) Seems well documented.
2) Web site seems clean and organized.
3) Simpler not having to set up a separate database component.
4) Easy to verify what is going on by examining the text files.
I want to have the wiki on a server connected to the internet so it may be accessed at any time from any location, yet limit access to a few individuals with a username and password for the wiki. In a few days, I may post a question concerning that.
Thank you for creating and maintaining dokuwiki. I've already edited the documentation a little trying to improve a few things I noticed.
