Hi there,
the Database-plugin would give me easy ways to create telephone- or workstation-lists, but i've some problems...
It doesnt work *g*
If i want to create a new Table, i get this Error:
Unable to open the file /srv/www/htdocs/wiki/data/pages/database/01-/definition.txt when attempting to read
After i set chmod to 777, and changed the owner to wwwrun, i get a additional:
Cr is already used - enter another
But, local there's no folder named 01-. Only one called 02-Cr, within a definition.txt and data.txt.
When i copy 02-Cr to 01-, and try to create a new table - i've get this error:
Unable to open the file /srv/www/htdocs/wiki/data/pages/database/03-/definition.txt when attempting to read
Cr is already used - enter another
He permanently wants to open a file, that exists, +1... if 02- exists, he wants to open 03-, and so on...
someone any idea? Maybe,.. incompatiblity with another plugin?

I've used it successfully with the previous version of dokuWiki (2006/11/??).

I think the tgz and zip is corrupt, I aggred with Neo.
download file but when I go "Plugin Management" and click on database
info it shows "Plugin: database Source:unknown Installed: unknown
This plugin returned no information, it may be invalid"
Am using Mac, Dokuwiki, monowiki.
All other plugins work fine. All using latest version of Dokuwiki though.

Suggest you contacting the author to get the latest version.
Or check if there is an archive somewhere...

The tar.gz-File seems to work fine.
I've added a comment on the pluginpage too, in hope that it will be useful for others.
In my corrupt archive, there were 2 folders named "create table" and "Create Tables". In the not-corrupt archive, there was only 1 folder.

It used to work a few weeks ago. As Neo van Matix mentionned, after installation, one of the folders must be removed. However, I don't use it anymore, since I didn't manage to embed such a table into an ordinary wiki page: Each table resides in its own namespace :-(
