Looks like I need to reconfigure a few things:
No.
DocumentRoot /var/www
That's the old default, the new is
/var/www/html -
but leave it as it is (it's fine).
grep: /etc/dokuwiki/conf/plugins*.php: No such file or directory
grep: /var/www/dokuwiki/conf/plugins*.php: No such file or directory
That's fine too, it just means you don't have dokuwiki installed into
/var/www/dokuwiki.
To find out what plugins you have installed (for the purpose of posting to forums)- run:-
grep plugins /var/www/conf/plugins.local.php
[/color] For your own purposes just look in
Admin->Extension Manager.
In your case the file you are interested is
$DokuWiki/conf/plugins.local.php
/etc/dokuwiki does not exists
It would if you'd installed the Ubuntu package of DokuWiki, which means you downloaded DokuWiki from dokuwiki.org and extracted it to
/var/www - then moved the contents of
/var/www/dokuwiki to
/var/www
We (readers) have no way of knowing that, we can only guess what you've done.
Installing the apache extension for php (as you've now done)
should fix the problems.
Note for next time you upgrade your Ubuntu release - read the upgrade notes
first. :)
