Hello,
I am using Dokuwiki on the local network (installed on my PC). Other colleagues are accessing it using my IP address. The problem is that, if a new user wants to register himself via Register option, the login windows shows that you are successfully registered and the password has been sent to your email address but when they check their email then, there is no password/email from Dokuwiki. what is the reason for that ?
Is it because, it is not installed on the real server but only on my PC (local network) ?
I do know that, i can register them myself and sent them username and password. just want to know the reason for above problem.

Hey sorry, Took a bit time but i figured out the problem. you are right, I can rename the existing namespaces. I was using some other template and was facing problem in that. Now i am using Dokuwiki template and everything is working fine. Thanks for your help but still my smtp plugin is not working, i think i couldn't understand well how to configure the smtp plugin settings. I am still working on it. If i couldn't solved the problem, then i will ask you about it :)

Is it possible to rename an already existing namespace ? I searched a lot but seems like it's not possible.

Your best bet is to use the move plugin.

I am already using move plugin but couldn't find an option to rename existing namespace.

Can't help, rarely use the admin method. But the plugin page suggests that bulk moves are possible. I think you have to investigate further. Or if there aren't too many pages, move them one at a time.

No, It's not setup on the server. The Dokuwiki is installed on my Local PC. My colleagues are accessing it using my IP address (network). when they try to register using their email addresses, it shows the password is sent to your email address but there is no email from wiki on their email addresses. same problem with other colleagues. So i registered them myself (admin) and sent them user name and password.
