Heya folks,
i'm facing a weird issue media corruption with our deployment of dokuwiki.
We're trying to move all internal documentation and procedures to dokuwiki - those are exclusively pdf, docx and xlsx files.
on some computers, after clearning local Google Chrome cache, any file under media manager will download OK few times
then randomly redownload once more but only as a small chunk of the file.
Header inspection reveals the following under normal behaviour:
Accept-Ranges:bytes
Cache-Control:public, proxy-revalidate, no-transform, max-age=86400
Content-Disposition:attachment; filename="6.1-1_plant_register.docx";
Content-Length:25847
Content-Type:application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document

Last-Modified:Tue, 18 Apr 2017 03:46:22 GMT
Pragma:no-cache
Server:Microsoft-IIS/7.5
and this for corrupted files
Accept-Ranges:bytes
Cache-Control:public, proxy-revalidate, no-transform, max-age=86400
Content-Disposition:attachment; filename="7.1-2_timesheets.xlsx";
Content-Length:1
Content-Range:bytes 1700-1700/27333
Content-Type:application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.sheet

Last-Modified:Thu, 30 Mar 2017 23:13:09 GMT
Pragma:no-cache
Server:Microsoft-IIS/7.5
WWW-Authenticate:Negotiate XXX
X-Powered-By:ASP.NET
X-Powered-By:PHP/5.6.22
as a result a file that is 27,333 bytes in size will sometimes download as 3,348 bytes
also corrupting the local cache in the process
I'm not sure this is a bug as we're running pretty vanilla dokuwiki install
would there be a way to disable caching and content-range on media files ?
or would anyone have any clue about what's going on here ?
