tobleron Dear DokuWiki Team, First of all let me thank you all for your amazing product. It is so far my favorite documentation tool based on simplicity. I am deploying dokuwiki at my work environment and everything went so smooth for the following setup: 1. Ubuntu 16.04 LTS 2. Apache2 3. Latest version of DokuWiki: Release 2017-02-19e "Frusterick Manners" The only problem I am facing now is slow performance when the "Save" button is clicked. I've tried to search everywhere online to fix this problem but most if not all of the documents are outdated. The webserver response time is great, only when I "Save" it's being slow and I'm not sure why. Content size isn't the problem. __What I'm guessing:__ 1. Apache2 configuration needs optimization. Any help? 2. Incorrect/Missing setting in DokuWiki configuration? Unlikely for me.. So I really would love to optimize the performance to the maximum. I also had another issue with TODO plugin which seems to only check through if the page is reloaded. I'm not sure what's the cause! Help or reference documentation is highly appreciated as it's a moment between being able to persuade top management to adopt this tool or disregard it :S
tobleron andi wrote Maybe your server is slow/broken when resolving DNS? https://www.dokuwiki.org/config:dnslookups Do you have a temple so I can worship you? :) Just by disabling this setting, Saving isn't just faster but also the TODO plugin started to work normally where it didn't before. THANKS A LOT ANDI!
