Subject: dokuwiki not functioning with the Opera browser
Help. I'm using dokuwiki version 2016-06-26a "Elenor of Tsort" with Opera version 44.0.2510.1218  on Ubuntu 17.04 64 bit. When I try to access the dokuwiki I get only a blank page. I have no problem like that with the Chrome or Firefox browsers.

I have found no problems with Opera, I just tested Elenor on Opera 47, so you might try updating to the latest Opera version, but I don't think that's your problem.  A blank screen usually means a php error,  there could be a caching issue, so clear your cache both the browser and the dokuwiki.

Thanks. That fixed it partly. Now it's not blank but it's not formatted - just a list of URL links

Are you still OK in the other browsers?  Make sure you clear their caches as well before re-loading dokuwiki.

Did you upgrade Opera?  Also open the developer tools and see if t here's a javascript error.  And you can try to disable your own installed plugins, then enable them one at a time, to see if it is a plugin.

My Opera version is 44.0.2510.1218. It says there is a newer version available but apt-get says I have the newest version. I can't find the error console - it is not in the developer tools menu. Disabling my extensions did not help. I re-enabled them and: bingo! suddenly the dokuwiki began working! Go figure.

Thanks for your help.
