jattie I have a duplicate of a wiki that I am trying to synchronise with rsync. This works well, but I lose my revisions and the reason is that the “.changes” index file needs to be manually merged after I copied the .txt.gz across that is missing. So the short version of the question, is this something that was done before by someone else, is there an existing plugin or a script to add the missing entries only? Thanks
albert25 I use rsync a lot for backups, but for this I use Unison to synchronise my local dokuwiki with the online version. This way I can edit in both, and Unison prompts me on conflicts.
digitalin For this purpose, the Synchronization Plugin does a very good job with a graphical user interface. So, you can choose what you want to synchronise, from each side or of course both side if you want a perfect copy.
