rgleason Orphanswanted and Multiorphan are NOT compatible with each other. Unload one and then install the other. They work differently. I found Orphanswanted useful. I installed it and created a new "orphanswanted" page with the command code. Viewing the page allows you to see where bad links are etc. I uninstalled orphanswanted and installed Multiorphan. It is also quite useful and has a more comprehensive interface. I do not yet understand all of it however.
rgleason 1. Look for all bad links in a document, (say 600 pages) including internal and external links and media links. 2. Provide a list of all the bad links and the name of the page hyperlinked. 3. Provide a hyperlink to get to the page with the bad link (in a separate window) so that it can be fixed. 4. Provide a button to rerun the search for bad links.
turnermm See https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:orphanswanted. Also in lib/exe you will find an orphanswanted script.
rgleason Thank you. It looks better and more versatile than I described. Extension Manager also lists OrphansWanted 2017-09 github shows a bug if some plugins introduce a special URL syntax - does indexmenu do this? -No OrphanMedia 2015-06 MultiOrphan 2017-09 which uses Ajax, by I-net (y Gerry - Inet same developer as SiteExport) Does anyone have experience with these?
rgleason Is very simple and easy, once you get into it and understand what it is presenting. It takes a little while pondering what it presents for orphans, but pretty quickly you learn what the problem is and what to do. There are handy view buttons to view and work on the pages. I have really gotten to like this plugin. Its fast too.
