Subject: CKGedit, Table Cell: Formatting issues
Hi,

We are using CKGedit plugin to edit our Dokuwiki pages.

We like to highlight some CKGedit Table Cell formatting issues.

(1) A header (eg. H3 or H4) is inserted into a table cell. After saving the page, the table will lost the formatting. Please Try it.

(2) An "Ordered list" or "Unordered list" is inserted into a table cell. After saving the page, the list will go out of the table. Try it.

For now, the only way is to avoid using "Headers" and "Ordered/Unordered list" in table cells.

(3) "Left-alligned" table cell: After saving the page, a table cell that is originally "Left-alligned", suddenly becomes "Right-alligned" or sometimes "Center-alligned". Try it.

We are hoping that newer version release of CKGEdit editor will be more user-friendly with tables.

Or are there alternatives that we can use ?

Thanks.

Cannot reproduce this on either Chrome of Firefox on Windows 10.  I need more information, to begin with: what browser and what OS.

As for the others, see:
  https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:ckgedit#html_blocks

Attached is a sample, showing what can be done with the technique described in the above.  You save the table as html and when reloading it into the editor, you can continue to work in the table, add rows, columns, delete, etc.

Hi,
Thank you for your solution!

It also solves the sudden "right-align" and "center-align" issues.

( I'm using Chrome in Windows 7 )
