So, I need to be able to write songs with chords in my wiki, and there's no convenient way for it that I know of.
Let's have this piece of song as a reference
A# F
One day in the year of the fox
Cm Gm
Came a time remembered well
My current options:
1) Use <code> blocks. That is the solution that works with the lowest effort for now, but I lose all the formatting options out there (sometimes you want to denote some special parts of the songs and it would be cool to have some colored and smaller pieces of text throughout the song).
2) Use <poem> plugin. This one makes it really hard to place the chords itself in the right spots above the text (it removes all the whitespaces on the chord strings themselves, makes it look like this:
A# F
One day in the year of the fox
Cm Gm
Came a time remembered well
3) Use <html><pre> That is stil tedious to use. It will add a lot of options with html, but makes it look pretty clumsy in html:

<HTML><pre>
<span style="color:blue">A# F</span>
One day in the year of the fox
<span style="color:blue"> Cm Gm</span>
Came a time remembered well
<pre></HTML>

Are there any other options that you can recommend?
Combining any of the methods above I couldn't really achieve the ease-of-use that I look for.
My current thinking is to use HTML and add some custom buttons to the toolbar to colorize the chords and maybe something more.
The ideal solution would be something that just preserves all the spaces in the text and allows me to use all the wiki tags doku wiki supports (so that doku-wiki and non-formatted lines could be mixed on the page)
