Subject: HTML Forbidden?
When I use HTML tags, I get the following:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /doku.php on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I changed the configuration to allow embedded HTML. Does anyone know why this happens?

Sorry, I'm really new at this. How do I check the server logs? I'm installed on a shared hosting service.

I added the lines to my .htaccess file, but it doesn't seem to have fixed anything.

If you are on a linux system, the error log will be in /var/log/httpd or var/log/apache2, named either error_log or error.log.
