PROBLEM
I was working with my Dokuwiki installation (added content, doing CSS over-rides, adding needed extensions, etc.) and after finishing, went about my day only to come back to being blocked by Imunify360. In fact, every site I hosted had me blocked. I had to switch over to using my phone as a hotspot (thus using a different IP) to log into cPanel to figure out why this was happening.
According to my tests, it appears that every click or load of a single page has at
least three (3) "calls", which appear as both an individual "hit" and "page". The three hit/pages are:
* the page itself
* a call to the indexer under /exe
* a call to CSS from the /exe folder
The only additional media file I have is my avatar, which makes the hit/page number four instead of three (from the _media subfolder).
Question: Is it normal for DokuWiki to do this? I took a look at my IP history (for my two IPs) and just doing a little work thus far **this month** has racked up a 4,650 pages and 11,500 hits, using a total of 67 MBs of bandwidth. I apologize if this is common for a script like DokuWiki; back when I used Wikimedia, MediaWiki or similar scripts (like 10 years ago), I did not appear to have this issue.
NOTE
I made a request to my host to whitelist my IPs, so it is not a problem now. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to turn off Imunify360--only make requests to whitelist.
