My tests have shown that you do not need cookies to log in. Cookies are only needed to stay logged in when you close the browser and start it again. That means the difference between the browser settings turned on cookies and turned off cookies is like the difference between the selection and deselection of the option "Remember me" when logging in.

Maybe I'm wrong but at the moment it's my theory, that the problem has nothing to do with the cookies.

Nope. You definitely need the session cookie for logging in.

We do not have enough data for any more help. You need to figure out why your browser doesn't get or accepts cookies.

why your browser

I'm not the OP.

I have now understood the following: Even if I turn off the cookies in a browser, still session cookies are allowed.

If the problem is with the cookies, then it would have to disappear if you use a newly installed browser, preferably another type. Even better on another computer.

Even easier: jogarcia tries to log in to dokuwiki.org using the browser in question. If I remember correctly, then there are the same account data as here in the forum.

I believe there is something wrong in the server or with the infrastructure.
I installed Dokuwiki to a sales guy and he told me it wasn't working (another machine, another browser).
I just tried to connect using firefox and still shows I'm not connected:
