Subject: [Solved] Unable to redirect start to index
Hello,

I want to redirect my DokuWiki start page (the page after login and click on the DokuWiki logo) to the index page (https://wiki.x.com/doku.php?id=doindex_do_index&do=index)

I tried to edit the start value at "Admin -> Configuration Settings -> start" with no success.

Default:
Value: start
URL: https://wiki.x.com/doku.php?id=start

Values I tried and results:
Value: index
URL: https://wiki.x.com/doku.php?id=index

Value: doindex&do=index
URL: https://wiki.x.com/doku.php?id=doindex%26do%3Dindex

Any ideas?

Your attempts did not work because the index page is not a normal wiki page.

You can do what you want via redirect rules in the .htaccess file. But of course for that you need advanced knowledge and experience.

A simpler way is to place a menu tree on the start page via a navigation plugin. These typically have similar or the same functions as the index/sitemap display. In addition, they offer many adjustment options.

Take a look at the plugins with the tag "navigation"

Thanks, I am now using the IndexMenu Plugin to display an index on the start page.
